PROCEDURE

  1. Find an area to survey, preferably an area known for turtle presence

  2. Record time, date, temperature, humidity,location as well as cloud cover and water temp (Be sure to record data regardless of turtle sightings or not)

  3. Follow a set route around the area and if there are turtles basking near water, take the water temperature.

  4. Be sure to approach the area quietly , so as to not startle or scare away the turtles  

  5. Document the area in epicollect and write down how many turtles were sighted, and their species.

  6. Repeat the following day but instead use ethogram sheets and document geese behaviors, as well their interactions with their environment as well and other animals. It is important
